Transit-Oriented Corridor
The Transit Oriented Corridor is a developed, pedestrian-friendly area within one quarter-mile of a public transit system and includes amenities that promote the safe movement of pedestrians. The City is currently in the process of re-zoning the Transit Oriented Corridor in West Hollywood, which is intended to promote Public health and safety; Pedestrian mobility; Public transit use, and most importantly Mixed-use development. Regional Activity Center
The Regional Activity Center is a high-intensity, high-density multi-use area designed as appropriate for growth by the local government or jurisdiction. RACs are intended to encourage attractive and functional mixed living, working, shopping, education, and recreational activities, in areas of regional importance. The Hollywood RAC was designated in 1990 and subsequently expanded in 2005. It is generally located East of I-95 and West of 17th Avenue.
